As much as I love reading about gay couples in books, I feel like lesbian couples are far less depicted in literature by comparison, so I say lesbian couple.

A gay couple. Lesbians seems to be over all more accepted in society than a gay men. So I feel having more gay couples in literature and film will help normalize it more.

How do you picture the couple? What are their personalities? What do you want them to have gone through to be homosexual? I know you may not actually put that detail in your story of how your couple became homosexual but knowing that about them can help you as a writer create them as deeper characters. What gender do you feel they are? I personally feel like I've seen equal amounts of malexmale and femalexfemale in televised media, but not tons of femalexfemale in literature. That's my opinion though I could be wrong. And ultimately this is all your choice. I just think you should try to ask yourself about them as people though, how you want them to be and let their gender emerge from there.

I’m currently writing a book that’s going to include a gay couple. I think gay couples are better than lesbian ones in books, but you do what you like! 😊
