How long should you and your mate wait to move in together?

We attempted to move into together about 4 months into our relationship and some issues arose so I decided to wait so we could sort some things out, then I moved in at 6 months. First couple moths were challenging but it’s been over 6 months now and going great.  For me the going back and forth between two houses was too draining and chaotic and preferred the stability of one household.

Timing falls second to chemistry.  I would evaluate your problems in the relationship and what you argue about; if you would fight more living together, i would wait until your communication is stronger. If your fights may be resolved by being around each other, you might be ready.  My boyfriend and i met in high school (junior year). We talked maybe 3 times. Then we chilled when we were 19 and i stayed the night and never left 😂. Then a few months at his moms, maybe 6 months, we got out own apartment.  I always believed in taking things slow and being “mature” and im not a very romantic person, but when you know: you know 🤷‍♀️.

It depends. Are you just planning to wing it and hope your relationship survives or are you actually planning to build a foundation for your relationship first so you know you have given it every possibility of succeeding?
My partner and I felt it was important to build a foundation because we wanted to know our relationship would have a strong chance of surviving. 
We moved in aftwr 2 years of dating. Got engaged 5 years later. Married right around 8 years together. Going stronger than ever.

My boyfriend came to see me oneday (we had just made it official the DAY BEFORE) & since then he moved in that day and stayed 😂 here we are 2 years later and I’m pregnant with a girl & He LOVES my 1st daughter ❤️ (we went to school with each other & I was always his crush but never gave him the time) 😂
