Did you or do you plan to get your daughter's ears pierced?

I had mine pierced when I was a baby. I'm glad my mom did because I didn't have to worry about it as I got older. But now that I have a daughter, I don't want her ears pierced unless she can say she wants them. I feel bad taking away that choice from her. Are there any other mommies that didn't have their baby girl's ears pierced? I feel like such an oddball because my whole family thinks they should be pierced. My friends have asked as well. I just don't think I could go through with it. ☹️
