CAN EARLY POSITIVE ➕🤰🏻PREGNANCY TEST MEAN TWINS??

I have read and been told that an early positive pregnancy test can mean twins... I’m curious because I found out a week before my missed period I am pregnant... besides feeling like this will be the longest pregnancy EVER 😂😂😭 I’m wondering if twins is in my future... I have an ultrasound scheduled in four weeks but really want to know what y’all think!! ✌️🤷🏻‍♀️🥰 If you’ve had twins or know someone who did let me know. 🙏🏻🙏🏻💖

No. Having early detection on a test doesn’t necessarily means twins. You could have ovulated sooner. Some women just have a high level of hormones even with one baby.

My positive was at 8dpo, in my 30s and only having one so I don't think getting an earlier test means anything about twins. I think it just means you implanted earlier. Congratulations!!!

Not for me. My twin positive came much later than my Singleton ones, so much later I thought I wasn’t even pregnant. 
I saw you asked in another reply about being older. Maybe you mean that older women (I’m 36) have a higher chance of ovulating 2 eggs, which can result in twins? That’s true, it can be a factor.

No. I found out at 7dpo, which is 3 weeks. I only had one.

It most likely means you ovulated earlier than you thought. I found out 6 days before my period. Baby was measuring 4 days ahead at my first ultrasound.
