Will my c section be pushed back?

Had an ultrasound this week, I am at 37 weeks 6 days and the feedback on the ultrasound came back as gestational age being 36 weeks 3 days based on size. My ob wants to schedule me for c section at 39 weeks since my baby girl is breach still. Is this a situation where they may push back the c section date? She is currently 6 pounds 7 ounces and according to Glow that is on trac

Ultrasounds after 12 weeks can be up to 2 weeks off for due dates. It is unlikely that anything will change. Because of how cramped baby is this far along, it is truly impossible to give an accurate due date. Most providers will not change a due date especially if you had an early ultrasound that gave you the original due date

Why schedule an early one? Where I live they would just wait until your in labour and then do one if the baby is still breech. There are lots of health benefits of labouring for mother and baby so it’s always best to do that if possible. Unless there’s a medical need to do it prior to 40 weeks and without a labour, I’d just wait :) x

I have signed up for an elective c section. I was told if there's an emergency c section then mine could get pushed back (in the day, or even week). Ask your doctor about this if you want to know for sure.

Talk to your provider about it. I don’t think it’s a big enough difference to worry about them changing anything at this point.
