feeling baby kicks?

so this is my first child.. i’m 18 weeks & 4 days.. i know most say you don’t feel them move early on because it’s your first and you don’t really know what you’re looking for but it just is worrying a little when some of my peers i know who are around the same weeks as i am and they feel more movement then myself.. should i be concerned or am i just being a crazy person 🙁

Felt my sons first kicks at 16w4d. I was completely shocked! Now I’m pregnant with #2 so I’m wondering if I’ll feel this one early too!

I’m 20 weeks with my first and just started feeling good kicks a week ago. Give it time!

Every pregnancy, every experience, every baby is different. I did not feel my baby until somewhere after 20 weeks.

I felt mine with my first at 19 weeks exactly. Right before finding out the gender

I felt movement for the first time at 18 w 1 day but I felt it the once and nothing for like a week and it kept being like that. You should find out where your placenta is located, the amount of movement you feel even later on depends on that. Mine was right up front so I only felt kicks around the sides, top and bottom of my belly and only in the middle if he kicked hard enough

I didn’t feel my first until 21 weeks, and even then it was like “was that really her or not?” It’s completely normal not to feel them this early, and depending on the position of your placenta, it could be a while. Try not to stress (which I know is ridiculous because I worried about everything the first time around)

Do you know if you have an anterior placenta? That makes a huge difference in feeling the baby. I’m a FTM, but I can 100% say there is a difference (for me) because I currently have one anterior and one posterior. I’m 23 weeks and haven’t felt baby B yet, but I’ve felt Baby A since 20 weeks.

Most women don’t feel them until close to 20 weeks. Especially if your placenta is in the front.
