So i’ve been on birth control for about a month and I’m using the patch method. I’ve been staying on track with changing my patches so perfectly down to the exact time on the exact day. My gynecologist said I shouldn’t get my period because I chose to do my patch free week every 3 months. But this week is the week I normally get my period I noticed a lot of discharge that was a different color sometimes pinkish sometimes a brown. So I put on a tampon to protect my panties and when I removed it there was lots of brown discharge and even a small amount of blood on it. Idk if this is normal or if this is only happening because this is my first cycle since I’ve been on the patch.
