I need some advice on what to do next. My husband and I will be on month 12 of ttc in a few weeks, but I’m unsure of where to go from there. My gynecologist is pretty relaxed and didn’t want me in until July, but I know I could get in sooner. It definitely seems like I’m ovulating and have regular cycles, so if something is up with me it’s possibly hormone related. For my husband, we have no idea about his sperm yet. I’ve heard you can do a semen analysis with a general doctor. Should we do that first? Should I beg to get into my gyno first? What will he even do? It seems like this whole process is going to take forever if I eventually want to get to a fertility specialist. I’m a teacher and want to use this summer to get shit done if that makes sense. We need a game plan and I’m not one to wait around and make my life harder than it needs to be. Any advice would be helpful!
