Is it normal for FWB to cuddle after hooking up?

I try my best to be somewhat reserved because I don’t want to catch feelings but my fwb always wants to cuddle afterwards. Which of course is always lovely and nice, but sometimes he’ll do just sweet little things like play with my hair or randomly kiss my cheek/forehead. When he does that type of stuff it starts to really mess with my head because I really don’t think he wants a relationship but I don’t quite get why he does stuff like that.

Just like any other kid of relationship, the dynamics and bounadries are different with everyone. Fwb doesnt need to be some sort of cold disconnected thing.

Biologically men are supposed to feel connected to the woman after achieving an orgasm so basically they want to cuddle and what not. If you don’t like it because of feelings you need to set boundaries up so that you don’t catch feelings. My last fwb and I cuddled after and what not and for us it was fine. Before I met my husband I had a FWB. He was the same. We were FWB for about a year and I ended up falling for him because of how he treated me. And I told him I wanted to be in a real relationship with him. He said he wasn’t ready for that so I left him. About a year later I met my husband. 
Once you start catching feelings just be honest and tell your FWB what’s happening so you can either cool off and take space or take things to the next level.

My fwb used to do the same thing. We would spend hours together just hanging out and talking, he would kiss me on the forehead and say all kinds of really sweet things to me that made me feel special and like he really did care about me as more than a FWB. I caught feelings and told him how I felt but he never would want to be together despite telling me things like he loved me and I was unlike any woman he'd ever met, etc. We would go our separate ways but end up coming back together anyway, we just couldn't stay away from each other. It took 5 years of this back and forth and lots of other things happening but we did end up together and are now married. My situation isn't typical though so don't expect things to end up how they did for me.

My fwb does the same thing. I asked him and he said that going to dinners, kissing, and cuddling- they all help him enjoy the act of sex. Basically he wants the connection but without the relationship. I ended up catching feelings and breaking it off, but we are back to hooking up again because I missed the sex. I basically keep my distance texting when we aren’t together, and distance myself when we are together. I don’t allow myself to fantasize the “what if’s” alone or with my friends. It’s been working out nicely. I think different people want different things out of FWB situations. Your guy may enjoy these acts.

My fwb back in college was the same. I used to sleep at his place a lot and we snuggled. He ended up catching feelings but refused to admit it and then was rude so I ditched him and he tried winning me back years later haha.
