What does contractions feel like?

I been having painful cramping that last about 30 seconds every couple mins and hurts to walk and I feel pressure in my pelvis

That sounds like it’s most likely contractions! Those are all the signs my midwives told me to watch for when it comes to preterm labor.

Going in to the hospital they are still painful to the point I can't move I slept for maybe an hour and just kept waking up to the pain

Going in would really be dependent upon intensity for me. Also if drinking loads of water, hot shower, laying on your side don't help and the pain continues to increase. However, my false labor the first time was ALWAYS close together and painful, but mild-moderate. When it was real, it started farther apart and slowly came together becoming more intense. It does sound like you're having contractions, but I don't know that they're real labor contractions as opposed to Braxton Hicks/false labor contractions.
