Still bleeding? Lochia or period?

I’m 7 weeks postpartum tomorrow and my bleeding stopped about a week ago but just restarted today. I can’t tell if it’s lochia or period bleeding? I’m breastfeeding and pumping because I have an oversupply and my little one can’t eat all I make.

I also just started birth control four days ago.

Is it normal for me to start bleeding again? How do I tell if it’s lochia or period bleeding? I didn’t think I would get a period until I stopped breastfeeding. It also doesn’t feel like a period, no cramps or other symptoms.
