Anyone else’s nipple really hurting and sore?

My right nipple started hurting yesterday. It’s really sore. It looks a bit swollen too. What does this mean?

My poor husband misses them. If he so much as looks at them or attempts to touch nipples....I turn grizzly.

Yes, I squeeze them when they get like that. Typically something comes out and gives me some relief. I wouldn't stimulate further than that, but just a squeeze might help relieve the discomfort a bit.
