I’m very devastated. I have not been in a relationship or with anyone for almost 11yrs. Recently, heartbroken from a one sided relationship and he gave me Herpes.

He didn’t know he was carrying it then it has pass on to me when we were together. When we were dating he was positive that he didn’t have any. He was pretty devastated too when I broke the news to him.

After 6 months together, we broke up.

Now, I had lost my confidence to be in a relationship. The fact I have STD has sort of ruin my love life.

Will I ever find somebody to love who I am?

I nvr have multiple sexual partner.

Only have single sexual partner.

Nvr thought the one I thought will be my soulmate after being single for so long has given me the worst nightmare ever.

We were protected whenever we have sexual intercourse.

I’m asian. There’s always a stigma about STI at my country. They perceive that person have multiple sexual partner and get infected by it.

I’m truly devastated. 😭😢

I’m thankful to those who responded and cared cause I really needed this to ventilate my frustrations. I always end up crying whenever I think about it.
