Period sex advice

I’m only spotting, more like light brown discharge. I’m seeing my boyfriend tomorrow morning, and I’m not sure what to do to prepare, should I attempt to clean up down there or what??? I’m not worried about a mess, my sheets are already full of period stains. I’m worried of what my bf will think. What’s it like for you guys? Usually we go down on each other... should I tell him not to go down on me because I’m on my period or should I not mention it?
