What side effects did you experience after getting the IUD?

What kind of iud did you get? How long did the side effects last? Any prolonged/frequent bleeding?

Got mine 6 weeks pp back in October and I hate it. I get irrational, have crazy mood swings, my hair is falling out, I have lack of appetite so bad weight loss, if my husband even attempts to be intimate with me I get upset because I have like -125% sex drive...this is the Mirena btw. I go in Friday morning to beg them to remove it, because I dont feel I should suffer

I wa son Mirena and constantly had yeast infections and UTI's. That was just my experience though, everyone is different.

I have mirena. I had 2 weeks of bad cramps. My periods stopped after month 4. Love it.

Mierna crash. 
Had 8 years after my second son. It was whenever he was six months. Then got the second one and had it removed December 2017. I’m still sick and under medical care. 
I was healthy before the iud.

I have had the mirena since 3/15. I have a tipped uterus so placement was more painful for me and the cramping was intense for a couple days. I’ve been spotting ever since off and on. I’m on my period now I think lol. It varies where sometimes I can wear a tampon but barely lol. I hate pads so much now! My boobs did hurt for a couple days then stopped. My skin got a little worse but not that bad (it was clear before). Sometimes I cramp, too. I got a stabbing cramp in my crotch a few days ago so I had my iud checked and it was ok. Ugh... I’m still debating if I should just get my tubes tied.

Spotting for 6 months but my period went away after a year. No sex drive. Weight loss. Somewhat less acne

I got my iud in February and I have been spotting ever since. When I get my period I get really intense cramps
