Awkward encounter

I had the most unsettling experience at the store the other day, please tell me if I’m overreacting or if my feelings are warranted. I was walking around Walgreens with my daughter in her stroller, we walked to the store bc it was a nice day outside. Well I was walking around the store trying to pick out a few things and this woman came up to me and say “wow, your daughter is beautiful “, I said thank you and then went on browsing. She stopped me again and said it again and then asked me what color my eyes were and how my daughter has blue eyes, I said my husband has blue and thank you again. And again I went on shopping. And again this woman came up to me and said she so pretty like actress pretty or model pretty, and again I said thanks and laughed. Then she starts talking to me daughter asking her when her birthday is and there me just smiling. Then I take off down another aisle. Okay so it’s time to check out and that woman is right in front of us and again she turns to me and says I can’t believe how beautiful she is how old is she.. 7? I said no, she’s 2 🤨 then she proceeds to ask me if I ever thought something that beautiful would come out of me and starts asking the woman checking her out at the register to look at my daughter and see how pretty she is. Okay, at this point I’m uncomfortable and I know I have to walk home . Then she tells me I shouldn’t give my daughter a lollipop 😒 and asks my daughter if she wants her to buy her candy. I said no thank you. And the encounter ended and she walked out of the store. Isn’t this weird? The whole thing creeped me out. If this was a guy I probably would’ve called my husband to pick me up from the store walking home. I didn’t see the woman in the parking lot but I basically ran home. Sorry for the long read.
