Is there a reason your appointment/ultrasound is scheduled earlier or later?

I’m exactly 5 weeks today, the doctor won’t see me until I’m 8weeks along 😩

I have not made my appointment yet as my children are off school so can’t take them to the doctors with me or they will find out and we aren’t planning on telling them till 12 weeks x

I’ve had the same Doctor with all my babies, they usually don’t need to see you until 8 weeks. I’m seeing my Dr at 8 weeks. Last pregnancy I saw her at like 7weeks5days. I think that’s standard at my office unless you don’t know your lmp date.

My first appt is 6 weeks to do bloodwork and history with a NP. I don’t meet my doctor or get an ultrasound until 10 weeks 😭😭

I get to go at six weeks when there’s a heartbeat, that’s what my OB said! You might as well not go till you can actually hear it is what I think☺️

High risk with multiple losses is why I am being monitored sooner and closer than a normal pregnancy

I have a history of early losses so my doctor did beta hcg testing right away and will do a vaginal ultrasound at 7 weeks

I just tested this evening. Im calling my OB first thing in the morning. This is my second pregnancy (first one ended in miscarriage likely due to several fibroids) so I’m really nervous. 🤞🏾

I’m 5 week 5 days... In the U.K. our first ultrasound appointment is around 12 weeks unless you pay to go private.😊
