When are you moving your baby to their own room?

Question

For those who have had a bassinet in their room, when did you move your baby/plan to move your baby to their own room? My son is 12 weeks and only wakes up once in the night, usually after 6-7 hours of sleep. 
He is a loud sleeper and I am starting to be too sensitive to his movements. Last night I kept holding him and didn't get sleep for 3 hours when he was sleeping but doing so noisyly every time I see him down. 
We have family coming in soon to visit and so one person will be sleeping in his room. I am thinking of moving him to his crib May 1 after they leave. He will be 3.5 months old. He does sleep with an owlet sock which will alert us if his heart rate or oxygen levels drop so I'm not as concerned about SIDS.

I was originally thinking 6 months but she is seriously about to outgrow her bassinet! 😳 I’m guessing we might start sooner

We started ours in her own room at 6 weeks, also with a video monitor and owlette smart sock. She immediately started sleeping better. She has been sleeping from about 9:00pm to 5/5:15am every night since 7 weeks old, she’s now 12.5 weeks.

We started transitioning at 8 weeks. He’s almost 10 and is sleeping better now than he was in his bassinet

Hi! We started out with our baby in our room in her bassinet. Except that as a newborn she wouldn’t just cry any time we laid her down there to sleep. So early on we Co-slept out of sheer desperation! I could hardly function and my husband and I were at each other’s throats because of the sleep deprivation and stress of caring for a tiny baby! 
Eventually she moved to her bassinet/rocker depending on the night and her willingness to sleep there lol. Once we got consistent in the bassinet, I realized that there is just too much going on in our room (tv, dogs, super loud insomniac husband, you know the usual 😂). She was too distracted to sleep or get into deep sleep, so I decided we should try her in her own room. We moved her to her own room at 9 weeks I believe. She immediately began sleeping better and for longer stretches. She is 12 weeks now and she is doing great still in her room! We use a video monitor and it works out great. The first few nights I was a nervous wreck but it’s been a good thing for us!! Now I don’t worry so much since she and I are both used to her being in her room now.

I switched boy if my older 2 at 6months they also were sleeping  through the night

We will move her once she sleeps through the night or at 9 months whichever comes first.

The plan was originally 3 months, but we are going to be moving around the time she is 4 months and I think rather than making the big change to being in her own room and THEN a move less than a month later, we will just move her into her own room once we are in the new home. I’m trying to touch her less at night so she’s used to being on her own.

My son slept in a bassinet next to our bed until about 6 weeks. My husband and I knew from the beginning that if possible, we wanted to transition our little guy over to his own room/crib pretty early. And so we did! And my son has been sleeping great ever since.

I did it at 10 weeks.  He was being woken up by the noise in our room. He sleeps so much better in his crib than he was in the bassinet. I bought a video baby monitor so I can see him.
