Tried out a new curling iron, took 2 hours (UPDATE)
Does it look good?

My hair is naturally wavy/straight and pretty thick and doesn’t like to hold curls. I like my new curling iron, it’s a $13 revlon 3/4 inch. I didn’t curl with any rhyme or reason after I burned my ear and it started becoming a huge pain in the butt because I’m left handed. The knob for the heat level kept turning down because of my left handedness. Took about an hour to get it down and another hour to finish everything to my liking. Can’t say I hate the results with this picture.
The important question is:
“Do I look like an 80s extra?” Lol
Update: after a touch up and windy walk, here it is with my glasses to complete the look

Update:
A new day another attempt, not sure if I like it as much but I did wash my hair with Aussie Volumizing Shampoo and put the mousse in while it was still very wet, I thought I’d was just damp but my thick hair hid how wet it was lol. Next time I might let it dry a little longer.

Also, I burned my scalp this time, ouch. Might need to do a few touch ups because it’s relaxing already.
(UPDATE AGAIN)

2nd day hair!! I brushed it out last night and it remained very wavy and floofy! I just dowsed it in heat protection, brushed it through and only took half an hour to recurl it all! Lovin’ it!
