First prenatal visit @ 8 weeks??

I am pregnant with my second baby and in my 6th week.
I called the obgyn to schedule my first pre natal appointment but the scheduled me to meet the nurse practitioner at 8 weeks.I am not sure when that changed but I clearly remember seeing the doc at 6 weeks for my first one.
When did you guys first see your OBGYN/CNP?

Aiming to wait until 12 weeks for ultrasound. Going earlier than that scares me.. early ultrasounds seem to be inconclusive about so many things. 
Also this lines up perfectly with my job, so I’m okay with waiting.

Same! 8weeks but I swore my first was earlier. Holding out till May 7th and they didn’t even send me for bloodwork, I guess that’ll wait till May too 🤷🏻‍♀️. For now I’m sticking to cheap tests for reassurance

Ill be doing my first ultrasound and see the nurse next week which would be my 6wks due to my past history of breast cancer. Hope all is well when i go🙏🏻 ive been feeling so good about everything 😊💖

With my first I saw my obgyn at 8 weeks, and it will be the same for my current pregnancy.

My dr said between 6-8 weeks so I made one for 6 weeks

My first and second pregnancies my office would not schedule anything before 8weeks, but since I’m now high risk I have an appointment tomorrow at 5w4d.

My blood work with a NP is at 6 weeks, and my first ultrasound and day I meet the OB is at 10 weeks!

I’ll be seeing mine at 10 weeks. I feel like that’s really far out; first pregnancy

I won’t be seeing one until at least 10 weeks. Live in Canada if that helps.
