My husband and I starting trying to conceive May 2016 and gave up September 2017. I was given the diagnosis of PCOS and sent on my way with no real explanation or treatment plan. Sept 2017- Dec 2018 I had the Nexplanon. I know it can take a few months to regain regular, ovulating cycles but am hopeful it will come soon. I am almost 28 and my husband just turned 39. These nurses and doctors won’t help me and don’t sympathize with the fact that just because I am in my 20’s that my husband wants to be a father into his 40’s. I emailed my obgyn to talk about medication but was quickly shot down since the Nexplanon was only removed 4 months ago. Do I ask my primary? He’s always seemed interested and invested in a future pregnancy.
