I’m so confused as to what is going on in my body rn. I have the Kyleena IUD and because of it, I haven’t gotten my period in a year.

Recently my boyfriend and I have been having a lot of “quickie” sex and this has resulted in making my vagina pretty raw on the inside- making it bleed and making sex painful if not super lubricated.

Suddenly tonight, I noticed I’m bleeding a LOT and even before realizing that, I was feeling very sick and crampy. Now I’m feeling kind of overwhelmed and emotional over not understanding what’s going on.

Does anyone have any idea what’s going on? Google is giving me terrifying answer such as “ectopic pregnancy” and this is not very calming. Am I just suddenly on my period again for the first time in a year or is something worse going on?
