How long can you go to jail for hitting a pregnant woman? Breaking her nose and giving her a black eye and stitches on her face ? If your in Texas and this would be the 2nd assault case

It really depends on the judge . If you have witnesses of the event he’ll go away for some time . But if not it can be hard to “prove”. My ex abused me so bad physically that I lost my daughter at 22 weeks. He caused my placenta to burst. I had bruises all over my body but when I went to press charges and get the police involved I couldn’t because i could’ve gotten hurt another way apparently and there was no one to back up my story. So assuming they believe you or whoever the pregnant woman is it just depends on the judge

There’s so many factors. Depends on prior record, the state in which is occurred, if there’s witness statements, etc.
Either way, I hope it’s a long time 👌🏼
