Finger foods?

What kind of finger foods are you giving your LO?  We haven't ventured there yet and have only done stage 2 foods.  My LO has 2 teeth on bottom.  Thinking about trying those wafer things maybe.  I would give her a banana or so but she absolutely hates fruits!  All she wants to eat is veggies.

You could do steamed or roasted sweet potato or carrots (both cut into sticks big enough for baby to grab), strips of toast with mashed avocado, butter, or pb, strips of egg, rotini pasta, large florets of steamed broccoli or cauliflower (big enough for them to pick up and gnaw on), pieces of shredded chicken or beef that are big enough for them to pick up and gnaw on as well. Don't quit offering fruit, even though they haven't taken to it yet. Buy fruits that you like and when you go to eat some just offer your LO a piece on their tray. (Think slices of mango, peaches, pineapple, etc. Or if you're eating an apple just cut 1/8th of it and grate it with a cheese grater and offer it. My LO loves this!) But that way if they don't like it or want to try it, not too much is really wasted. :)

Shredded cheese, steamed broccoli until it’s pretty mushy, scrambled eggs, spaghetti and sauce with ground meat, sliced avocado, bits of muffin/soft bread, raspberries (halved or quarters), blackberries (quarters/sliced quite well), diced chicken, ground meat, fish flaked into small pieces, usually just bits of whatever we are eating cut up smaller. Gets easier with time and teeth definitely are not necessary. I find that my LO doesn’t always get much in with the finger foods but he’s getting better and it’s still good practice, as well he gets the different flavours on his hands and still gets a taste.

Oh also I made sweet potato biscones - 50g butter, 100g SR flour and 100g sweet potato and in the oven for 15 minutes...he absolutely loves them!

I kinda give my boy what I’m eating and then a few snacks in between. 
Breakfast - usually porridge/weetabix/banana and oat pancake with half a banana/tinned peaches/strawberries 
Snack - kiddilicious wafers go down a treat! Or a breadstick/apple slices
Lunch - I spread something on a slice of bread like cream cheese and cut it into fingers with the crusts off 
Dinner - whatever I’m making I take out a little before I add my seasoning. He loves spaghetti bolognaise 😂

We do teething crackers (baby mum mum's) and Cheerios. She just started to be able to pinch things so we'll be doing more soon. I wanna try pancakes next
