Y’all 2014 through a mutual friend we got introduced online. 
We instantly connected and started talking frequently. I was still in HS. 
When I started college in 2015 , in the fall we met up. 
We started dating spring 2016 . He’s literally my first EVERYTHING. 
It’s 2019 now close to graduation and I think he’s decided to be with me forever and settle down. 
I’m 22 and he’s 28... which I think plays a factor....... like he’s lived his life out.

Dating is the worst and most boys suck, if you were lucky enough to get it right so young then don’t let it go for no good reason!

You know real love when you feel it. Think about it: do you want to spend the rest of your life with him? If you’re asking the question it might mean that you’re unsure, so if you need to take a little separation for a while that’s completely okay. But honestly, if you’re happy with him, just stay with him. You don’t have to get married NOW. Just spend more time dating, seeing each other change and grow, and you’ll know if he’s the one you want to spend forever with. 💕

I met my boyfriend a little over a year ago, he’s 28. I’m 22, about to graduate and am happier than ever. Although he’s a good 6 years older than I am, he still let’s me experience life (obviously within reason) because he knows I still have a life to live. Yes, I’m young but everything with him feels right. We are moving in together in August and am trying to find the right way to tell my dad. I have support from the rest of my family but am afraid to talk to him about it. Mostly because he’s very opinionated about the way I live my life. He loves my bf but I think he’s afraid I will make the same mistakes he did. I’ve only ever been with one other man who I was with for 4 years. I met my bf a little under a month after I ended things with my ex. And during that relationship my dad always told me I need to “experience life” so I guess I feel like he will say the same when I talk to him about the next step in my life. What I keep telling myself is that once we take the pressure off and ignore everyone else’s opinions on what they think we should be doing, life becomes a little easier. Everyone has an opinion and you just have to learn to listen to your heart. Life experiences are NOT the same for everyone and personally I feel like having someone to share those experiences with is pretty damn wonderful! If you’re happy, keep on girl!

What do you want? That’s the important thing. I married my HS sweetheart, neither of us ever felt like we missed out or needed to go look around. That is though. 
Do you feel like something is missing? Are you happy? Could you see a life with this person? That’s what you need to be asking yourself. Don’t settle if you feel like that’s actually what you are doing. Nobody should settle for another person. If you feel like you need to date around because that’s what society says is normal, remember not everyone does and not everyone needs to.

I married my first love, we have a rambunctious almost two year old boy and a little girl coming in August. I wouldn't have the amazing life I have now had I not trusted my gut and stuck with my first love. Wouldn't change a thing.
