1 year old food, HELP!
So this may sound like a silly question but I’m not a big nor healthy eater so I’m just not sure...should my 11.5 year old be eating a veggie, fruit, grain and protein at EACH meal? Or just make sure he’s getting some of each throughout the day? I guess I need to brush up on nutritional facts. Iv included a sample of what he eats just in case you see any improvements I could make! Any help is welcome!!
Breakfast- an egg with spinach and/or cheese OR oatmeal with some sort of fruit
Lunch- He usually isn’t a big lunch fan so I mainly another bottle here instead.
Dinner- some sort of meat and maybe a few veggies. Some nights just veggies or a squeeze packet baby food thing (I don’t know what those are called!!) or a little bowl of baby rice with a veggie mixed in.
He usually has about 25 oz of formula throughout the day as well.
So what am I missing that he needs to be eating? Do his meals need to be more balanced knowing his doctor is going to be telling us to cut back formula soon? Thanks in advance for any advice!!!
