Quick birth story
I was 41+5 weeks. My March baby had become an April baby! We went in at 8pm on 4/2 to start the induction process. The used cytotec but after a couple hours I still had no dilation. They decided to instead a foley bulb and within 4 hours I was 4cm. By the afternoon of 4/3 I decided to get the epidural. I can’t remember times on anything lol they broke my Water and in no time after that I went from 5cm to 10cm in what seemed like the blink of an eye. Started pushing and got to see my little girls head. The motivation hit me so hard at that point. I heard the dr say that her shoulders were stuck (shoulder dystocia) and that her heart rate was dropping. One of the nurses climbed up onto the bed and started pressing down on my pelvis. That was the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. Our little rainbow came into this world within 45mins of pushing! What a journey the past 9 months have been! We’ve been adjusting at home with some rough evenings and some less rough. I could never imagine my life without her in it now. 💕🌈
