What kind of underwear to bring to the hospital and wear after birth?

What kind of underwear to bring to the hospital and wear after birth. 
I’m definitely going to pack my maternity underwear. 
But what about pads or adult diapers? Which one is suggested / more better or efficient to use. Idk if I’m having a vaginal or c section yet.

I used what the hospital gave me - pads and mesh underwear. I had a c-section and brought home a few packages of the mesh underwear as well. I wore them for a few weeks because they hit above my incision. Even at 10 months postpartum pants and underwear bother me.

I legit wore the netted giant pad diaper thing the entire time I was there. I was WRECKED honestly I’m not bringing underwear this next birth.

I used the hospital underwear and pads the whole stay. I also used the pads when I got home! Those things are huge (you won’t mess up your underwear with those lol)

I just went and bought a pack of large “boy short” cut underwear (I’m normally a medium) and used pads like tena or poise, much more comfortable then a diaper imo 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wore the hospital mesh ones in the hospital. After that, I wore my old maternity panties because I didn't care if I ruined them.

I wore my regular underwear after I left the hospital I didn’t bleed the day after I gave birth 🤷🏽‍♀️

After hemorrhaging I didnt bleed to much so I didnt need bug pads but when ur water is leaking an adult diaper would of been nice

Both if you don't know which you want. I'm doing adult diapers but they provide both at most places

I tried pads and I felt like every time I would lay down or get up the pad would move, so this time around I’m going with adult diapers for post partum. 🙂
