Bleeding around 5 weeks?

I think I am about 5 weeks pregnant. However I only found out because I was having some mild pelvic pain and my mother made me test and to my surprise it was positive! I had Hcg blood work done to confirm but I've been having some spotting/light bleeding. Not enough to fill a pad but just worrisome. No cramps or pain. Tomorrow my second Hcg results will be in to confirm whether it's just first trimester bleeding or if I'm having a miscarriage. All prayers appreciated! I was also curious as to if anyone has experienced bleeding during first trimester and ended up being fine. This is my first pregnancy and I'm so nervous. I'm a nurse at a clinic and everyone at work has told me it is probably fine but I can't help but think the worst!

Yes! I had spotting at 5 weeks and my little one is due the 30th of this month! It's really hard to be postive in a situation like that but bleeding dosent necessarily mean the end. Prayers that it all turns out okay for you!

Spotted for the first 10 weeks on and off. It never got heavy or dark red so they told me I was fine. It turned out to be coming from the vaginal walls and not my cervix! Good luck to you ♥️

I spotted like that from the day I found out I was pregnant until about 5 1/2 weeks. It was always light pink or sometimes brown, I had mild pain but not a crampy feeling. It went away and then came back at 7 weeks but only lasted for 2 days and I haven’t had it since - dr said it could have been residual implantation bleeding after my hcg came back doubled.
