I mean it depends, my SO and I lived together before we were married and both chipped in on things, occasionally before our finances were merged, I would take him out to dinner, or treat him to something.
If he had lost his job, I would've supported him best I could. Etc.
There's a difference between taking care of someone you love, and homeboy taking advantage. 🤷🏼‍♀️
