I have to nurse my 14 month old to sleep. But occasionally he will lay himself down and drift to sleep

both i have to rock my little to sleep at initial bed time and then every wake after that she'll just go to sleep until sunrise. after sunrise she expects me to hold her while she sleeps. like for every day nap she refuses to sleep in her crib but sometimes I can get her to nap on the floor if I lay down in the floor with her until she falls asleep
