I had the Medela with my first and Spectra2 with my second. I believe the s2 had a stronger suction but I found out the hard way to make sure your flanges fit correctly. I have small nipples and couldnt figure out why I was hurting so bad from pumping and gave up with my first.

I prefer my Spectra over my Medela. It’s quieter, more gentle and overall empties me quicker and better!

Spectra/Medela are both great brands. I used medela with my first and exclusively pumped everyday for 8 months and it held up well. I have the Spectra s2 this time around but haven’t used it yet. They both have good reviews.
