One touch verio issues?

Does anyone use the one touch verio? If so, do you have any issues with erroneous numbers? A few times I've woken up and felt like I had low sugar and I was starving.  I would check my sugar and it would say I was 90. I used my old meter (freestyle) with same blood draw and it showed me 72! It's odd...

I’ve only had mine for 3 days so I don’t have much experience with it. I had a high fasting number and felt like I shouldn’t. I retook it and it went down to within limits. I really hope this stupid thing is accurate, I really don’t want to be doing all this and have my readings wrong.

I use one touch and I had to get the control solution to calibrate it, even then the ranges are like 102 to 138.  My doc told me one touch normally reads higher than most meters. I compared it with Reli-on and there was at least a 30 to 40 difference I readings.  Not sure what to believe anymore.

Happens to me all the time..i dont get it and its scary that this thing isnt accurate..ive had a 10-20 point change within the same minute of requesting..??

I dont have anything to compare it to, but if also am using the one touch verio. I also just hope its accurate. I feel like it is? 
Like, I tried a banana with dinner last week with a meal I eat all of the time, and my number was higher. I ate it again last night without the banana and it was back to what it normally is for that meal. My doc always told me to retest if I get a number higher than 120 to make sure it's not in error. That's only happened once for me, and it was only different by 2.

I’ve been using one since 25 weeks (I’m 36 now) and mines been good. I actually have two (one for work and one for home). One time I had a ridiculous high fasting number (the one time it has been out of range) and retested and it did drop but was still crazy high. There is always going to be some variation though.
