What is your baby's position at 36 weeks

Question

My Doctor told me just now that my baby is in Posterior Position, for now. She didn't seemed worried but  I have done some research that most likely, they will turn into Anterior Position when about to give birth. Having a baby who is in a Posterior Position most likely will lead you to a longer labor, more pain and will lead to CS although only 8 out of 100 babies stays in that position. Is there anything to worry? Have this happened to anyone of you future mamas?

My dr only said head down at my 36 wk appointment and didn’t say whether she’s posterior or anterior 😕

My baby was posterior for my labor when I was having a VBAC. Labor was very long, more than 24 hours, and extremely painful with the back labor. She did finally eventually turn to anterior and I had a VBAC. There are exercises you can do during labor to encourage baby to turn.

I’m having twins and twin a is breech with his bum engaged already (32 weeks) and twin b is transverse.

Currently my baby is in transverse position, if he doesn’t up by 36 weeks (currently 32 almost 33) my doctor wants to start taking about a C-Section.

There are lots of things you can do to help baby turn!! Just google moving baby to anterior position and you’ll find lots of exercises and movements to try! Baby’s also often will turn during labor.

I’m 39 weeks and this still changes daily for me sometimes I feel babies back there and sometimes it’s limbs

I was never told whether or not my baby was posterior. They kept telling me my baby was head up but then I got an ultrasound to prove that my daughter was actually head down, so nurses can be wrong. 
Although, I went into labor and birthed a posterior baby. I was in labor for 37 hours and had back labor which is common for posterior babies. I didn't have a c-section but I did end up needing an episiotomy to get her out after 2 hours of pushing.
I was honestly so tired though that I slept between contractions and after I birthed my daughter I was shocked at the time. Felt like I wasn't actually in labor that long because I was so sleepy and I didn't even have an epidural.

Baby was like this pregnancy number one until 39 weeks ish, then I spent one super uncomfortable night where I hardly slept because he turned himself around in the slowest way possible, and at my next visit two days later he was all set where he needed to be

My girl was head down but facing sideways. She wouldn’t turn into the ideal position for birth and when I was pushing it felt like I was breaking in half as I was just pushing her shoulders into my pelvis. She was stuck so they used forceps to turn her and then I was able to push her out. My waters also broke before any contractions, and contractions did not start naturally so they said it was spontaneous rupture of waters which may have been caused by her and the position she was in. Oh and when she came out her umbilical cord was really short which may have been why she couldn’t turn herself.

That was my first born. He was “sunny side up” ... I had the WORST back labor. Felt like I was getting split in half even with an epidural. Hoping this pregnancy goes a bit better and she comes out the other way. Good luck
