Eye goop - blocked tear duct?

Hello mamas! I was wondering if anyone else’s babe is having goopy eye problems? 
I know it’s probably something to do with her tear ducts, maybe it’s clogged? I just keep wiping and wiping and wiping them away! 
Anything else I can do to help speed up the process for them to heal/unclog?

I’m gonna try the breast milk in the eye, my pediatrician said to massage the corner of the eye but I haven’t tried it

We had to massage the tear duct for a few months twice a day to finally open it up. Otherwise our son would have needed surgery  to open it up. The massaging worked over time.

I had commented under someone’s comment but definitely do the massage with warm water and try the breast milk if you can! They waited until my little guy was almost a year before doing the procedure. It took 2 minutes if that even. The doc was out by the time I made it to the waiting room.

Our pediatrician told us that putting a drop of breast milk in the baby’s eye does the trick... I thought it sounded pretty weird, but it actually worked for my baby 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes! Drop of breastmilk in the eye. Had the same happening to my first and with the milk it cleared up right away

My baby has for the first two days I just wiped it gently with warm water and it went away on its own.
