Is line supposed to get darker???

Hi all!
Over time is the test line supposed to get darker than the control line?? I’ve been reading the more hcg you have the darker your line will pull from the other. Is this true? I’m just so scared something is wrong with this baby and I don’t go to the drs until another 6 days.
