Turning 35

Heather

Today I turn 35. 10 years ago if you would’ve asked me (as a special education teacher) I would have said that I would be done having children by 35 because of the risks. Little did I know I’d meet my soulmate at 30, get married at 33 and start the ivf process at 34. Little did I know there would be 4 failed cycles so far due to a poor response to the stim meds. Little did I know my life would just be beginning at 35 and that I have the most amazing support system throughout this journey. 35 is not too old. 35 is just the start, and I’m hoping being 35 brings me a little one to love on someday. But for now... I’m realizing my “younger self” was pretty clueless 😁
