Hormonal imbalance and breast feeding
My son is a month old in NICU born at 25 weeks and I've been exclusively pumping for him. I've always had a low supply and did everything I could to increase it. Pumping every 2 hours, power pumping, staying hydrated, eating well, lactation cookies, supplements and nothing happened. I just spoke to a lactation consultant and come to find out, the reason I can't produce a lot is because I have pcos. I'm so upset! My body has failed me in so many ways and now it's failing my son too. The one thing I need to do for him, I can't because of my body. I also have low progesterone and have had 2 previous miscarriages before my son. I'm at a loss on what to do. I guess I'll just have to pump until I can't produce anymore. I could use some kind encouraging words ladies❤️
