Aria Lily came shooting into the world at 0950! Weighing 8lb9oz (her brother was 5lb12oz)

Had some intense back ache and ‘period’ cramps throughout the night very irregular. Had a bath at 0730 and suddenly started to come every 2 minutes... as a midwife I thought I knew better and it was early labour... 🙈 at 0800 I decided I couldn’t do it anymore called the childminder for my son and husband back from work! Spoke to a colleague at work and told her I was coming in!

Got to the hospital at 0845 after hubby getting home and dropping son off. Examined at 0910 at 6cm.

Got into the birthing pool and after 5-10minuted felt my body go just take over... she was born at 0950 and we were back home at 1600 the same day!
