Pregnant with period?

I hear all these stories about the birth control pill failing...I take them religiously and have never missed a pill. I got my period last week on Tuesday like normal and it was heavier than normal, I had quite a few clots. I have had a headache and vivid dreams the last week. Could I still be pregnant even though I had a 5 day period?
