AITA for the baby shower?

Ladies, this pregnancy has been awful. I love my Munchkin. But things just aren't aligning. I've dreamt and planned how I would want to announce, and how my shower would be, etc etc. You know? I didn't get to announce, due to a gossipy family member. And my baby shower is being thrown around 3 different times. Ones gonna be in a different state, with all my family, ones gonna be with my MIL and one is maybe getting done my the god father's family. I didn't ask for any of these, just no one gets along with anyone and so everyone is doing they're own thing. All I wanted to do in any of these, preferably with the one my family and with my MIL, is have a bit of my own plans put in place. These aren't plans that are outrageous or anything. These are things like small games, or how I would like my guest book to be etc. Things that I had planned for the memories they would bring. You know? And I basically was showing my mom a few of my ideas since she's helping plan the one for my family, and she just told me that it doesn't work that way. People do what they want, and I get what I get kinda thing. I'm a FTM so im not sure on the etiquette, but I wanted at least something to go right. Am I in the wrong?
