Would you strip to support your kids?

Question

I know this can be a semi controversial topic, I’m a teen mom and don’t want to go to college or work in fast food or retail jobs for the rest of my life. I see no problem with stripping and plan to do so while my fiancé goes to cc and works retail. I’m just curious of other people’s answers on why they would or would not strip to support their family.
No hate here please just curious and want honest answers. If you’re going to shit on the decisions I make in my life feel free, but keep in mind it’s 2019 and bringing people down for your own gain doesn’t make you look big and people can do what they want as long as everyone involved is comfortable

I, personally, wouldn't do it because I believe showing "private" body parts like tits or booty is something for a "special someone". I also wouldn't want any of my kids doing it in the future so I would want to set a good example. Aside from setting an example, your body is something that you're born with and eventually gets wrinkly. I'd want a job/career that requires diligent mental effort, one that expands my mind, teachs me new things and assists me in evolving.

So, my mum did this in the late 90s/ early 00s when myself and my one sister were infants. I was born in 95, she in 98. She worked as a feature at the biggest club in my city and made excellent money doing it. Sadly towards the end of her career is when cell phones started getting cameras and the industry changed. The dancers became too drug dependent and the clubs turned into brothels. While my mum worked she was the Queen Bitch of the place, keeping drugs out and kicking ass if anyone tried to touch her or any of the other girls. It was a look-but-don’t-touch environment, unless the dancer stated otherwise. 
   There is nothing wrong with working in this industry, and don’t let people talk down to you and tell you otherwise. Sex sells, simply, even if all you’re selling is the illusion of it. 
   The important thing is that you are comfortable doing it and understanding that in this day and age, everything will be posted, shared, and over-shared. What you do for work doesn’t change who you are as a person, and my mother even told me that if the industry hadn’t of changed as much, she would have suggested I do it for work to pay for school. 
   Something to also note is if you go down this path, understand you have your window to work in but should also have something else planned. It’s sexy in your twenties and early thirties, but after that the viewers tend to look towards the younger dancers and work and “tips” become quite a bit more scarce.

I honestly don’t know. Stripping is hard and can be dangerous. I’d also consider it disrespectful to my husband. I’d rather get a part time job or go to school when my children are old enough for daycare unless I had a family member that could watch them

Just keep in mind that this is a real job, despite what other people might say. You will probably make great money, but lose part of your soul in the process. You will deal with men (usually married) falling in “love” with you 🤮 and men flat out rejecting you. There will be drugs and alcohol in every club you go. Period. That doesn’t mean that you will or have to do either!!! 
So, from what I can remember, that’s the short version of what to expect. I can not truly prepare you for a job like this. Nobody can. I can say that it is NOT the easy way out.

We specifically waited so we were financially stable enough to support kids. I don't have the body for stripping, but don't have anything against strippers personally. You don't need to be poor to want to strip. But it's not something I ever had a desire to do. I always wanted to go the college route.

What’s your long term plan though? If I had no other option I might, but as a way to reach a better place (while learning new skills and finance, saving for education, etc.). That’s not very secure either way long term. 
Do you already have a skill or hobby? You could start remote freelancing on top of it. There’s also panty selling which has more anonymity and fewer creeps touching you.

I wouldn't because personally I would feel that all of my dignity was gone... Also I've been in strip clubs in my younger years and have seen what strippers go through and do for money or "good" money.... I've seen old men put their fingers inside a stripper while she was dancing on him. I've seen strippers letting random strangers eat them out... I don't know. I guess in this one scenario I do care what people think... And have higher aspirations that stripping might hinder if people knew I was one.
I will say though.... Strippers can BANK. They can take in more money in one night than I can in a week or more. So if that's what you've decided to do, and your relationship won't suffer... Then do you boo!
