So I don't have one but if I did and it's something my baby like I'd continue to use it. The deaths are from it being misused for sleep or not buckling their children in. Anything can be unsafe if it's not used properly

I have read that the deaths were caused by positional asphyxiation, not misuse of product. It is when chin to chest happens and cuts off air supply, which is why they say to never allow your baby to sleep in the car seat when not in the car and properly positioned.

Im gonna be using mine.. had mine when my first was born and hes 7 now.. its called buckle them in and keep ur eye on them.. its not a babysitter

It's safe if you follow the instructions. Don't use it for unsupervised sleep and stop using it when your baby can roll. I used it for months with my son and he's fine. I plan on using it with my next baby too.

My daughter slept in hers from 2 months to 4 months buckled in with it rocking all night long with no issues. Obviously I woke and checked her a few times a night but I never had any issues and plan to use it again with my next.

These have never been approved for any safe sleep. This is not new, use at your own risk lots of baby products are not safe and sold regularly car seat covers and the shoulder pads NOT safe but they are sold. It is up to the parents if they choose to use them and it is their duty to do research on product safety. But I am a social worker that literally does infant safety so I go a bit crazy.

I’m not going to return it because it was given to me for free, but I won’t use it. I didn’t plan on using it before the news stories came out anyways because I got a beautiful bassinet for when we’re downstairs with baby anyways
