Am i wrong in this?

My husband and i are both reading the bible together, i see that i read it faster than he does. Because when we go look up what a verse means, we both we on our own. And i was already done w that paragraph, ready to scroll down, while hes still reading.

I just told him that i read fast, because he said for us both to read separate for now on. And he began using that in every argument we have. That im rushing, im racing against him, he accuse me of racing against him to see who reads faster. He also said that im rushing, but im really not. Im also really not racing against him. I just read faster, and he began accusing me saying that im smarter than he is.

I kept denying that im rushing and racing. But he kept telling me that i am. He said the devil is making me have such thoughts of not rushing and racing. Sigh. 🙄

Now im thinking if i really was rushing or not just because i read faster, and im just crazy like he says. He says reading fast means rushing.

Do you think he right about reading fast means rushing?
