Help. Does that look like a cold sore? I’ve never had one so I don’t know how they look when they first appear.

Any time I've gotten a cold sore its been more of a blister... but if you're worried ther is absolutely no harm in having a doctor take a look at it. The saying "better safe than sorry" definently apply when It comes to your children.

If you're afraid it's a cold sore, dont hesitate to take her to the pediatrician, cold sores/hsv 1 can be deadly to infants and you dont want to just keep an eye on it til it gets worse. Take your baby in asap, rather it be nothing than to be something and have waited too long.

It might turn into one, keep an eye on it, cold sores hurt reeaallly badly so I hope it isn’t that!

Possibly. I’d keep an eye on it. When I get them they are first tingly then become red and have a raised area then about a day into it it becomes a blister then a day or two later the blister kind of opens up and drains
