I hadn’t had a period since May of last year and I’ve gone through multiple rounds of Provera and nothing, no bleed. So my regular OB referred me to an RE who decided to perform a Hysteroscopy to check for scar tissue. It turns out i had scar tissue on my cervix which was removed during the Hysteroscopy last month. I completed my round of Estradiol and Provera and finally, for the first time in almost a year I had a bleed, which only really lasted 2 days. This is good news because it means my cervix stayed open. But, I’m wondering if this is a true cycle or could my ovaries/hormones be on my own regular cycle. If they test FSH levels, are they the true levels or should I wait till my body starts the next cycle on its own?
