There’s this guy that I’ve recently befriended, and I really like him. I would consider us to be a bit more than acquaintances. We’re both twenty-one-year-old college students.

As far as I know, he’s only ever had one serious girlfriend (in high school) and a few flings. I’ve heard through mutual friends that he’s not very good with dating stuff.

For myself, I’ve never had a boyfriend or even been on a date.

I would love for us to go on a date, but I have no clue how to move in that direction. I’m pretty introverted, and a bit socially anxious. I’d be way too nervous to ask him out myself.

Any advice on how to get the ball rolling between us?
