My heart is heavy today...my mama aged 51 had a stroke lastnight at 8pm I'm currently sitting by her bedside in icu...I'm fighting sleep and starving, but none of that matters what matters most is that shes alive she may have permanent drooping of thr right side of her mouth and permanent stuttering and slurred speech but I thank God that my 24 yr old step son Timmy was quick enough to get her here in time...The hardest decision I've ever had to make is giving the Drs the ok with giving her tpa...they said she had a mild stroke in the left side of her brain resulting from high blood sugar and Cholesterol...All I ask is for y'all all to pray for her so that she can return home to my six year old stepdaughter and 5 step sons, and my 29 step grandchildren whom all love her so much

Before she fell asleep she wanted to see what her smile looks like now bless her heart it broke her heart that she felt herself smiling, but she really wasn't showing it on in her face...also that she stutters and slures some words, but not all of them
