Help, mamas! I’m so worried. I’m 31 weeks pregnant with my first baby (a sweet little boy.) My due date is June 17. I went in for an appointment last Thursday and they found I was having contractions. They weren’t consistent or intense, but they went ahead and checked my cervix and did the fetal fibronectin test. My cervix was closed, but I just received the test results today, and they were positive.

For those who don’t know, a positive fetal fibronectin test MAY indicate that you are going to deliver prematurely within an allotted time frame.

Has anyone on here had a false positive before? Or, did they end up delivering prematurely? Was everything okay with your baby?

I’m only 20, and my fiancé (24) and I have done everything right... at least, that’s what it feels like. I’ve eaten so healthy, I exercise almost daily, everything has been PERFECT up until now... I’m so worried about my little man. 😔
