31 weeks baby measuring massive?

Jen

I am 31 weeks, and I have had a really rough pregnancy (hg). I also have an anterior placenta, so I rarely feel movement. Because of this, I am unable to do kick counting, so I go in for weekly NSTs. My ultrasounds and fundal measurements have consistently been about three weeks ahead (I’m fully aware 2 weeks off is very very common since ultrasounds can be oh so wrong, but since I’ve been 3+ weeks off they have me in the “watch zone”) - but today he’s measuring five weeks ahead (fundal). I know fundal is wrong most of the time, (since it doesn’t equate fluids and body positions etc), but I’ll go to MFM next week to get a growth scan.

But I’m curious how many of y’all consistently measured large, and ended up delivering early? Were they as big as the doctors expected? I always laugh and say pregnancy is like talking to the weatherman, because so many things vary and the baby can come out completely different than the docs think - but I also got a know if I need to start preparing my body for giving birth to a bowling ball 😅😂 I also am so sick and tired all the time I’m cool with delivering earlier than planned!

We are also keeping watch on me for preeclampsia, as my blood pressure is consistently high. I have to monitor it up to three times a day womp womp. So I know that may take me in early!

Sorry this is lengthy. I really try to emphasize my understanding of how wrong a lot of these scans are lmao. I’m just curious most of the outcomes that had similar situations
